Wheaton College

Wheaton College is a private liberal arts college located in Norton, Massachusetts. Founded in 1834, it is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the United States. The college has an enrollment of approximately 1,780 students from more than 60 countries and all 50 states. The student body is composed of diverse backgrounds, including international students, first-generation college students, and students from various racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Wheaton College offers more than 40 majors and concentrations in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and interdisciplinary studies. In addition to its academic offerings, Wheaton College provides a variety of extracurricular activities for its students. These activities include student organizations, sports teams (including men's baseball and women's softball), intramural sports teams, theater productions, musical performances, art exhibitions, and other events on campus.

Wheaton College is home to many notable alumni who have gone on to become leaders in their fields. These include former U.S. President George H. W. Bush; Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David McCullough; former U.S Senator John Kerry; actress Julianne Moore; poet Sylvia Plath; and numerous Nobel Laureates including Drs. Martin Luther King Jr., Elie Wiesel and Desmond Tutu.

In addition to its academic offerings and extracurricular activities, Wheaton College also offers a variety of services for its students such as career counseling services through the Career Development Office; health services through the Health Center; library services through the Clapp Library; technology support through the Technology Services department; financial aid assistance through the Financial Aid Office; and residence life assistance through the Residential Life Office.
