Warner Pacific College

Warner Pacific College is a private, urban, liberal arts college located in Portland, Oregon. It was founded in 1937 as Pacific Bible College and changed its name to Warner Pacific College in 2004. It is affiliated with the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana). The college offers more than 30 undergraduate majors, including accounting, business administration, communication studies, criminal justice, education, English literature & writing, history & political science, psychology and sociology. It also offers several graduate programs including master's degrees in business administration and education.

The college has a student body of about 1,400 students from around the world. The college strives to provide a learning environment that encourages students to engage in meaningful dialogue with faculty and peers and to develop leadership skills that will help them reach their academic and professional goals. Warner Pacific also offers a variety of extracurricular activities such as clubs and organizations that foster community engagement and leadership development.

Warner Pacific has an 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio which allows for personalized attention from faculty members. The faculty are highly experienced professionals who bring their expertise to the classroom. The college also encourages research opportunities for students through summer research fellowships and other research opportunities available through the Office of Research & Scholarship.

The campus is located on 17 acres with several buildings including the main classroom building which houses classrooms, labs and computer labs; the library; student center; chapel; residence hall; athletic facilities; academic buildings; student services building; art gallery; theater; cafeteria; bookstore; fitness center; health center and more.

The college also offers several services for students such as career services which provides assistance with job search strategies, resume writing workshops and career fairs; counseling services which provide support for personal issues or concerns related to academics or life in general; health services which offer physical exams and immunizations as well as mental health resources such as counseling sessions or workshops on stress management or conflict resolution skills; disability services which provide accommodations for students with disabilities such as extra time on tests or alternative formats for course materials.

Warner Pacific is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges & Universities (NWCCU) since 1967 making it one of the oldest accredited institutions of higher learning in Oregon. The college has been recognized by U.S News & World Report’s “Best Colleges” rankings every year since 2015.
