Oklahoma Christian University

Oklahoma Christian University (OC) is a private, Christian liberal arts university located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Founded in 1950 by members of the Churches of Christ, OC is affiliated with the Churches of Christ and offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The university has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students and offers more than 80 majors and minors in fields such as business, engineering, education, nursing, science and technology, music and the arts.

The mission of OC is to provide a quality education that prepares students for meaningful lives and successful careers. The university's core values are faith, integrity, service, excellence and community. OC seeks to equip students with the knowledge they need to make wise decisions in their lives based on Christian principles.

The campus is divided into four main areas: academic buildings; student housing; athletic facilities; and administrative offices. Academic buildings include classrooms for traditional courses as well as laboratories for research projects. Student housing includes residence halls for both undergraduates and graduates. Athletic facilities include a gymnasium with basketball courts, tennis courts and a swimming pool. Administrative offices include the president's office as well as other administrative offices such as admissions and financial aid.

OC offers many opportunities for students to get involved on campus through clubs, organizations and intramural sports teams. Students can also participate in student government or join one of several honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society or Alpha Chi Honor Society.

The university also has an active alumni network with more than 25 regional chapters across the country where alumni can stay connected with each other. The alumni association also sponsors events such as career fairs where students can meet potential employers or attend seminars on professional development topics such as resume writing or interviewing skills.

OC provides a variety of services to help students succeed academically including tutoring centers; study abroad programs; library resources; career services; counseling services; disability services; health services; international student services; religious life activities; recreation activities; student organizations; student government associations; volunteer opportunities; study abroad programs and much more!
