Northwest University

Northwest University is a private university located in Kirkland, Washington, just outside of Seattle. Established in 1934, Northwest University is a Christian liberal arts institution affiliated with the Assemblies of God denomination. The university has a diverse student body of over 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students representing more than 30 countries.

Northwest University offers bachelor's degrees in over 40 areas of study, including business administration, psychology, education, and communication arts. The university also offers master's degrees in education, counseling psychology, and business administration. Additionally, Northwest University offers several certificate programs and online learning opportunities for working professionals.

The university is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). Northwest University also holds specialized accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP) for its Counseling Psychology program and from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP) for its business programs.

Northwest University has an active campus life with over 50 student clubs and organizations that meet regularly on campus. These clubs range from academic to religious to social organizations that provide students with opportunities for involvement outside of the classroom. Additionally, there are numerous intramural sports teams that compete against other universities in the region throughout the year.

The university also offers a variety of services to help students succeed academically and socially during their time at Northwest University. This includes individualized academic advising services that help students develop their academic plan; career services that provide assistance with resumes, cover letters, job search strategies; counseling services; library services; computer labs; study abroad programs; and much more.
