Campbell University

Campbell University is a private university located in Buies Creek, North Carolina. It was founded in 1887 by Baptist minister J.A. Campbell and his wife, Adaline D. Campbell, as the Buies Creek Academy. The school has grown from a small academy to a large university with more than 7,000 students and over 1,400 faculty and staff members. The university offers more than 150 undergraduate and graduate programs across four schools: the College of Arts & Sciences, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, Lundy-Fetterman School of Business, and Divinity School.

Campbell University has an impressive history of academic excellence that is reflected in its many accolades and rankings. It is ranked among the best universities in the South by U.S. News & World Report and has been named a "Best Value" school by Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine for four consecutive years. The university also boasts high graduation rates; its six-year graduation rate for first-time students is 68%, well above the national average of 59%.

There are over 100 student clubs and organizations that cover everything from service organizations to Greek life to intramural sports teams. The campus itself is beautiful with its lush green lawns and picturesque buildings that feature both traditional architecture as well as modern design elements. Campbell University also offers several housing options including traditional residence halls, suite-style living options, apartments for upperclassmen, Greek housing for members of fraternities or sororities, off-campus housing options near campus for upperclassmen who prefer to live independently or with roommates away from campus grounds.
